Each year, my Vietnam Veterans of America chapter visits fellow veterans, sharing the joy and spirit of the Christmas season.
In 2007, I performed at the Ann Arbor VA Hospital alongside Miss Washtenaw, Miss Michigan, and Stacey.

It was a joy to have my fiancée join the band as a female vocalist. Cheryl and I have now been married for 54 wonderful years.

Fresh from earning my B.S. at Eastern Michigan University, I was immediately drafted into the U.S. Army in the midst of the Vietnam War.

I gained a wealth of musical knowledge from the five other members, several of whom were more than 30 years older than I.

It’s hard to believe the band has been together for 50 years, especially with our original drummer, Dale, still playing alongside us.

At my first concert, I was only 7 years old. My accordion teachers were Louis Faggio (1956-1963) and George Cailotto (1963-1965).
