My Professional Performance Background

Throughout my extensive musical career, I’ve had the privilege of performing with several well-known and popular bands. I played with The Knight Kats (1965–1970), a lively four- and five-piece wedding band; The Highlanders (1972–1980), a dynamic five-piece group with a big band sound; and The Wayne Warren Trio (1972–1980). In 1980, I rejoined The Knight Kats, continuing to entertain audiences as part of a three-piece ensemble. 

Since retiring from full-time public school teaching in June 2006, I have built a successful career as a solo accordionist. During much of this time, I also performed with the Knight Kats, continuing that collaboration until five years ago.

These decades of experience have strengthened my ability to read a room, connect with diverse audiences, and deliver performances that are engaging, polished, and memorable.
