My Professional Journey (1965 to the present)

Music has been a lifelong passion, and I have been fortunate to spend more than 60 years entertaining audiences throughout the region. My musical career began during my senior year of high school and continued through college (1965–1970) with The Knight Kats, one of the area's premier wedding and party bands.

After serving in the U.S. Army (1970–1972), I joined The Highlanders, a five-piece band known for its rich, big-band sound. During the same period, I also performed with the Wayne Warren Trio, entertaining at lounges, restaurants, private events, weddings, and dances.

In 1981, three original members reunited to revive The Knight Kats, and we once again became a popular choice for weddings, parties, dances, and special events throughout the region. Since 2006, I have focused primarily on performing as a solo accordionist.
